Most of Eagles senior team was playing on the small ground down at nutgrove and went to a comfortable 3-0 lead over Beachside, and the home team scored the last 2 late on i the match. Eagles looking reasonably tight before the summer cup begins ...

Prospect Knights (fromaly Western) def Launceston 3-4 in First Round of Hudson Cup after trailing 3-0 at half time. didnt see it myself but if Mclown's report is anything to go by, Launceston strong in first half and Knights found their pace in the Second!

Northern Rangers drew 1 all with Metro, Not sure how close to full strength metro was but Rangers were missing at least 5 seniors for one reasonor another, close game, draw was fair, Rangers desereved a penalty and didnt get one but Metro got denied a goal by a supper save at the death!

Donk!

Beachside were pretty impressive, the first of eagles goals were offside, second was unstoppable and the third was just average defending. the beach looked weak in the midfield but defence and striker looked gold. great little chip by gibson and good speed and finish from new recruit jamie walker. missed the midfield domination of sam howarth who played in reserves and scored a cracker volley from half way. easily the best team in div 1 this year. and will be challenging prem league next year.
