The A-League

Do many people out there watch the A-League? What do you think of the standard and do you think the new structure is pushing the game in the right direction?

I'd like to offer an opinion. Don't have pay TV. It's hard to get into the A league when it's not available to the majority of the public, and what's even worst is that the local newspaper thinks that is no support for "football" in Tas. Did anyone see the results in the Sunday Tasmanian?

I love football, but I have not got into the A-League, I still try to follow English Premier League, but that is hard too now that SBS have lost the rights. I am not prepared to join the ever increasing throng that subscribe to pay TV so I rely on the internet, local paper is useless. From what I have seen the A-League is not really close enough to EPL or equivalent to make me want to watch, and I don't know any players.
I am suprised Brian that you felt no passion in the North South clash, did you feel the players also felt no passion??
I am also wondering why so few writers are willing to leave their names? why so many anonymous?

the games should be available for all to see if the league is ever going to get popular....someone missed basic marketing concepts?
