In what different ways would you like to see the local game portrayed in the media? Television, magazine, newspaper, online ...

The FFT really need to do some work on their website, there is so much potential but they continue to produce a mediocre medium for players/coaches/supporters to get out of it what they want!

Speaking of the media - I heard in the final few sections of the 8am Triple J news this morning: "Tasmanian soccer authorities are preparing a bid for the state to get a team in the A-League". I can't find this on any other news site (including Google News).

Yeah Chug i heard that too, it said something like "A Tasmanian property investor is putting up $2m for an A-League license". The news cut out just as they finished saying that!

I think you will find this story relates to NZS and the Wellington bid to take up the 8th & final A-League spot for 2008. They had to come up with $2M to secure their spot.

Tassie in the A-League!!! hahahaha

i think podcasts and even an electonic monthly newsletter would be acceptable options for the FFT to work on, and maybe some advertising of the weekends games like the premier and regional SFL leagues do

we will never get coverage if the standard of the game is like it was in the summer cup final on sat night, terrible game with the quality of players getting worse every year
